The restaurant brings the vibe of Cuba right to your table - good food, live music and with Andres always your host sharing stories and laughter. His menu is filled with Cuban ingredients and dishes - congri (rice and beans), malanga (brown, hairy tuber similar to taro) and yuca (also called cassava, often compared to potatoes). Food is always prepared fresh - there's no frozen food here, including the drinks - fragrant mint muddled for mojitos, ripe fruit sliced for garnishes. And speaking of the drinks, it doesn't get more Cuban than rum-drenched drinks such as the Papdoble (Hemingway's daiquiri), Floridita (from one of Havana's finest bars) the El Presidente and an oldie, but a goodie - Ron Collins. You just know you're in for a memorable night here...
